I have been out visiting my customers lately as I always do. All I keep hearing is how terrible the economy is. Everyone seems to have the same mindset regarding how terrible everything is. People tend to feed off of news, whether it be bad or good, and it seems as of late that the only thing anyone is concentrating on is how bad things are.
Granted, business is a little slow due to the economy but no one seems to be helping at all by grovelling about it. What people need to do is start advertigin more. They need to imprint more specialty items. Things with their names on them to leave around town and the surrounding areas where they live and work.
Some advertising specialty items that are small and inexpensive are pens, magnets, power clips, calendars and letter slitters. There are many specialty advertising items that are small and light enough to mail to others without even added postage.
People need to consider what is happening to their businesses by thinking the way they are and be more proactive to help themselves get out of the positions they are in.
Hopefully before too long things in the eceonomy will start to change for the better and people's additudes will begin to change with it.
